As I’m checking my email this morning, I see an email regarding my year renewal for my business account. HOLY COW- Time sure does fly! I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was half way through my program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and was on my way to get the business side of things started. I was brainstorming with my dad and husband about names, looking at a thesaurus for other options and really was trying to find something that described me, my outlook on health and how I want my future clients to feel after working with me. I woke up at around 4am and had the name Simply Balanced Health stuck in my head and knew at that moment that was going to be my name. I automatically purchased the domain  and it has been active for a year now! My primary goal was to let clients know that living a healthy lifestyle is simple. Of course any change is going to be difficult at first but making small changes, trying new things, your mindset and lifestyle starts to live healthier without really thinking about it. Living balanced is super important when changing your lifestyle. You don’t want to only focus on the nutrition side of things, you also need to focus on your relationships, career, stress-management, etc. All these things contribute to increasing your desire to eat healthy and motivate you to exercise more. If you don’t know already, I love Yoga. So that in itself is a practice of being fully balanced inside and out. Health is pretty explanatory, but it’s a good reminder that your health is important to you. We all want to feel great, energized and happy on a daily basis.

I have been so blessed by the number of family, new and old friends and even strangers who have supported me on this path. My dream has finally come true. I am continually growing my business at my own pace and can’t wait to keep sharing my personal stories, growth and healthy, helpful tips. The last couple months I have started my new path on becoming a Yoga Instructor which I absolutely love. My first day of class, I walked in and knew that this was were I was meant to be. Every time I’ve gone it has been so inspiring and motivating to want to learn more. I am extremely excited to start teaching and help others improve their flexibility, self-confidence, staying fit and of course reduce stress.

I look back at my life and sometimes today just doesn’t seem real. I never thought I would pursue my dream or even have the opportunity too. I always thought I was going to be bouncing around from receptionist positions, my motivation was low and really didn’t have any passion for things. Health and Nutrition was always something I’ve loved learning about but when I was younger didn’t think of turning it into my career. Life is always going to be a crazy rollercoaster for me, but with all these experiences I’ve become stronger, clearer minded and ready to conquer the world !

I just really wanted to say thank you so much for all your kind words, support and trust in me. This has been an amazing year and am anxiously awaiting what will be coming next! Stay tuned for new programs, classes and lots of healthy goods coming your way!
